Ingredients:
1/3 cup protein powder
1 large egg separated
2-4 tablespoons almond milk
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
coconut oil
Utensils:
mixing bowl
hand mixer
waffle iron
Instructions:
prepare ingredients
preheat the waffle iron
get a mixing bowl and add 1 large egg white
beat egg white with a hand mixer on high speed until stiff peaks
once the egg white is light and fluffy add 1/3 cup of protein powder
add 1 large egg yolk to the bowl
add 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder to the bowl
add 2-4 tbsp of almond milk and beat together with the hand mixer on low speed until well combined and there are no lumps
spray the heated waffle iron with coconut oil so the batter doesn't stick
pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook until there is no steam coming out of the iron then slowly open and remove to a plate
When you are ready for serving top with syrup, whipped cream, berries, or any other toppings of choice.
