Hot Ham And Swiss Croissants

Ingredients:

  • 4 whole wheat croissants cut in half to create sandwich buns

  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoons compliant brown sugar

  • 4 slices swiss cheese

  • 1 pound deli ham

Utensils:

  • knife

  • cutting board

  • small mixing bowl

  • whisk

  • aluminum foil


Instructions:

  1. prepare ingredients

  2. preheat the oven to 350°F

  3. get a small mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp of dijon mustard

  4. add 1 tbsp of honey to the bowl

  5. add 1 tbsp of brown sugar to the bowl and whisk together until smooth

  6. spread the honey mustard mixture equally on each side of the 4 croissants

  7. add 4 oz of ham onto each croissant

  8. place slice of swiss onto each croissant and place the two halves of the sandwich together

  9. wrap each croissant with foil and place them in the oven at 350 for 10-15 minutes then remove and allow to cool slightly before eating


When you are ready for serving, serve with coleslaw or other side of choice.
