Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
1 1/2 cups almonds chopped
2 cups flaked unsweetened coconut fakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup coconut oil melted
Utensils:
large mixing bowl
mixing spatula
knife
cutting board
large baking sheet
parchment paper
Instructions:
prepare ingredients
preheat the oven to 300°F
line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
get a large mixing bowl and add 1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
add 1 1/2 cups of chopped almonds to the bowl
add 2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes to the bowl
add 1/2 tsp of salt to the bowl and mix together until evenly distributed
add 1/4 cup of honey to the bowl
add 1/3 cup of melted coconut oil to the bowl and mix together until everything is coated in the liquid mixture
pour the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer and press together with the back of the spatula so it's compacted together
place granola in the oven at 300°F for 15 minutes then rotate the baking sheet in the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown
remove baked granola from oven and allow it to completely cool to room temperature
break granola up into chunks
Store granola in an airtight jar or container until ready for use.
