Gnocchi Bolognese

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound lean ground beef
4 garlic cloves minced
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup red grape juice
28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tablespoons tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup basil chopped
1/4 cup coconut cream
1/2 cup parmesan grated
1 pound uncooked whole wheat gnocchi
Utensils:
large skillet
large pot
wooden spoon
cutting board
knife
strainer
Instructions:
prepare ingredients
bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt
heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp of olive oil
add 1 lb ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes while crumbling with a wooden spoon until brown
add 4 minced garlic cloves to the pan
add1 tbsp of dried oregano to the pan
add 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes to the pan and saute for 1 minute
pour 1 cup of red grape juice into the pan and stir and scrape the bottom of the pan
add 28 oz of crushed tomatoes to the pan
add 2 tbsp of tomato paste to the pan
add 1 tsp of salt to the pan
add 1/2 tsp of black pepper and stir together to combine and bring to a boil the lower to a simmer for 10 minutes
add 1/4 tsp of nutmeg to the pan
add 1/4 cup of chopped basil to the pan
add 1/4 cup of coconut cream to the pan and simmer for an additional 10 minutes
add 1 lb of gnocchi to the boiling water and allow them to boil until they begin floating to the top then transfer them straight into the bolognese
add 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese to the pasta and toss together
When you're ready for serving, put some pasta on a plate and garnish with additional parmesan and basil.
