Basil Pesto

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups basil leaves

  2. 1/3 cup almonds

  3. 1/3 cup parmesan cheese finely grated or nutritional yeast

  4. 3 garlic cloves

  5. 1/3 cup olive oil

  6. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. black pepper to taste

Utensils:

  • food processor


Instructions:

  1. prepare ingredients

  2. get a food processor and add all ingredients and blend until smooth


Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge to use on sandwiches, in pastas, and other recipes.
