Ingredients:
Sauce:
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup butter
8 ounces cream cheese or fat-free
1/2 lemon juiced
1 cup heavy cream
cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese finely grated
parsley chopped
pasta noodles of choice
Chicken:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in half through the center
salt
black pepper
garlic powder
cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
Utensils:
sauce pan
large skillet
whisk
knife
tongs
cutting board
Instructions:
prepare ingredients
Sauce:
get a sauce pan over medium-low heat
add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the pan
add 8 minced garlic cloves to the pan and heat until the garlic begins to brown
pour 1/2 cup of white wine into the pan and allow it to cook down for 1 minute
add 1/4 cup of butter to the sauce and allow it to melt in
add 8 oz of cream cheese and whisk together until everything melts together
squeeze 1/2 a lemon into the sauce and whisk together
pour 1 cup of heavy cream into the sauce and whisk together
bring the sauce to a boil then turn the heat down to a simmer
add cayenne pepper to your spice preference to the sauce
add 1 tsp of black pepper to the sauce and whisk together and whisk together
allow the sauce to simmer until it has thickened a bit
right before mixing in the pasta add 1/4 cup of finely grated parmesan cheese to the sauce and whisk together
Chicken:
get a large skillet over medium-low heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil
get 4 chicken breasts and cut them each in half through the center so you have 8 cutlets
sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and cayenne to taste to both sides
sprinkle black pepper heavily onto the chicken on both sides
place the chicken into the heated skillet and cook for 6 minutes on both sides
once the chicken has finished cooking turn off the heat and remove the chicken from pan and onto a cutting board
allow it to sit and rest for a couple minutes before cutting
once ready for serving cut the chicken into strips or dice it up
When you are ready for serving add some pasta to your dish and ladle over the sauce. Top with the blackened chicken and sprinkle over some parsley for garnish if you desire.
