Ingredients:
1 red bell pepper diced
1 yellow bell pepper diced
1 orange bell pepper diced
1 green bell pepper diced
1 small onion diced
1 medium tomato diced
5 garlic cloves minced
32 ounce can black beans
2 pounds ground turkey
16 ounces tomato sauce
10 ounce can diced tomatoes with habaneros
2 jalapenos minced
1 handful cilantro chopped
1 tablespoon tobasco hot sauce
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 cups water
2 tablespoons olive oil
Utensils:
large skillet
large pot
mixing spatula
knife
cutting board
can opener
Instructions:
prepare ingredients
get a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of olive oil
add the 4 diced bell peppers to the skillet
add 1 small diced onion to the skillet
add 2 minced jalapenos to the skillet and saute for 10 minutes or until they begin to soften then pour the veggies into a large pot
in the same skillet add 1 tbsp of olive oil
add 2 lbs of ground turkey to the now empty skillet and saute together until the meat begins to brown making sure to mash and separate the meat as you cook it then at it to the large pot along with the vegetables
add 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder to the chili
add 1 1/2 teaspoons to chili powder to the chili
add 1 tsp of paprika to the chili
add 1/2 tsp of seasoning salt to the chili
add 1 tsp of salt to the chili
pour a 32 oz can of black beans into the chili
pour 16 oz of tomato sauce into the chili
pour a 10 oz can of diced tomatoes with habaneros into the chili
add 1 medium diced tomato to the chili
add 1 tbsp of tobacco sauce
add 2 tbsp of worcestershire sauce and mix together and allow it to boil for an additional 5 minutes
add 1 handful of chopped cilantro to the chili and mix together
reduce heat down and simmer for 30 minutes or longer stirring occasionally; the longer it sits the better it will taste
When you are ready for serving use a large serving spoon to scoop chili into a bowl and add any additional toppings.
